BIM Modeling and 3D Engineering
Blackwood of DC in a continued effort to provide our customers on-time and error free production offer the following services free of charge:
- 3D models of CIP Buildings (BIM Model)
- "Concrete" Shop Drawings of CIP Buildings
- Electronic Coordination of MEP trades and our work (overlays returned to GC)
- "Sure track" Schedule updated bi-weekly and emailed to the customer
Our engineering process which creates the 3D model resolves 99% of all issues before construction begin.
It detects and alerts the customer to issues affecting other trades saving money and more importantly TIME.
GC Responsibilities:
- Provide CAD File promptly after project award
- Provide CAD files of addendum drawings within 48 hours
- Provide CAD files or TIFF’s of shop drawings submitted by other trades for graphic coordination
- Respond promptly to RFI’s
- Distribute coordinated drawings provided by us to other trades
